OTR Company located in Eastern Iowa seeking a dedicated and skilled truck driver with 2 yrs of any CDL A experience to join our team. This role involves long-distance transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating a Class A tractor trailer. If you are passionate about driving and committed to delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you. Home weekly or can stay out. No cap on earning potential - 50/50 split after operating expenses.
DUTIES
Operate tractor-trailer units for long-haul deliveries across designated routes.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery schedules.
Ensure the safe transport of goods while complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
SKILLS
Minimum 2 years class A CDL truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) A.
Strong understanding of route driving and navigation.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in all driving activities.
