The job of the sales agent is to obtain NRG Energy sales by lowering customer's electricity rates on their energy bill while canvassing door to door, selling inside one of our partnered retail locations, producing leads using social media sites, asking for referrals, and by utilizing any other lead generating outlets. A-S Marketing handles all other back end work such as payout to teams and customer service. All agents must have transportation to and from our office unless hired on as a freelancer due to living too far from office. Initial and ongoing training is provided, and all agents have the ability to move up to management level.
7 year background check
Pass NRG certified training test with minimum 75%
Own vehicle (Or transportation to the office) & smart phone
Willing to travel to different locations throughout IL area.
Minimum of 30 hours per week available to work
Present and sell NRG products and services to new customers
Prospect and contact potential customers
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
Follow up with all customers to obtain referrals
Showing up to all meetings on time
HOURS & EXPECTATIONS:
All agents are required to work a minimum of 4 days per week.
Agents must report to the office every work day for training purposes before heading to the field.
Agent hours will be tracked via your manager and the tablet you will be provided. All activities must be logged via the tablet.
All agents will have the opportunity to build, manage, and get paid from their own team.
A sales agent will earn $10/hour during their initial 3 training days. After training, all sales agents will receive great commission pay. The commission varies depending on the size of the home and energy usage. The average commission per sale is $60. The average sales rep generates 15 sales/week working 30 hours. Payout is weekly every Friday. Same day pay is also available.
