Me and my son recently purchased a deluxe camper and we've decided to forgo our home and do the tiny home living thing. I want to introduce my son to living on the road to help introduce him to a diverse set of healthy and varied life experiences and positive people while he's still young... I want him to grow thru his child hood seeing more than just illinois and peoria, because I never had the chance when I was his age... Our lease is up on the 15th of April and we're going take the jump and start living in right away after that. We're looking for someone who's gracious enough to allow us to use either their backyard, a parking space or lot or a spot on a piece of land here in Peoria. We are a little strapped for cash at the moment due to purchasing our RV, but I am a freelance contractor and Landscaper and handy man and also do odd jobs to pay bills, and in my spare time me and my son like to create jewelry, art workout, read and listen to music.We are non- fundamentalist Christians.My interests mainly include making jewelry, growing plants and herbs, eating healthy, working out, reading and increase my knowledge of the world, learning about ways to become a better person, enhancing my skills and learning new ones, developing my spirituality, and learning to live off grid... Were pretty resourceful people so if you're willing to help us out I think me and Shorty can come up with a way to properly compensate you until we have some more income coming in. Were looking for something mid term so far just to test the waters, so anywhere from about 3 to 7 months at a spot, possibly a bit longer. We have no pets, just an fyi. We're working on setting up Solar so in the mean time a place with electricity and water would be very preferable, and if they could be offered we have materials so it can remain a discreet a non disruptive set up for the individual who offers us a spot. Were okay with whoever as long as the kind, good vibe, and open to blessingba father and his son with a chance at a new exciting life on the road with a little trial run. I'm working on it with my son, but I'm a neat freak so keeping the RV and the area we're in clean will be no issue. Happy to provide handyman work and general labor for the individual who can bless us. If you feel like you would be willing to grace us with the blessing of finding a spot before the 15th it would be very much appreciated.
