Pair of Original Vintage 1960's Fender Solid State Deluxe Reverb Amplifiers Model SR1025

My father was a professional musician and played all his life. He bought this pair of solid state Fender Deluxe Reverb amps from Boyd Music in Rushville Illinois back in the early 1980's. Originally he bought just one but after playing it on jobs and liking it, he went back and bought the other one. They were used when he bought them and he has owned them and used them occasionally since then.

These are serial numbers 1252 and 1538.

These late 1960's solid state amp's were designed by Bob Rissi, a Fender Design Engineer who went on to work for Rickenbacker developing and designing their famous Transonic line. After that he formed Risson, an industry leader, that today sells a great line of amp's and sound equipment to the trade.

One of these appears to operate as it should and the other just hums or buzzes. We cannot offer a guarantee or warranty on their continued operation due to their age.

Other than what is listed above, there are no flaws or defects noted except cosmetic wear to the cases primarily on the corners and edges as shown. There is what appears to be a piece of red tape or paint over the words Solid State next to the Fender logo on the front plate. That is how it has always been. His other one doesn't have the red stripe, just the words Solid State.

Local sale in person cash only. No shipping or codes.
