Offered for sale is a No. 850 Stanley sledge hammer. “Stanley” is embossed into a top face as is the model “No. 850”. The sledge hammer has a marked “8” on the head for 8 pounds. On the scale it weighs just over 9-1/2 pounds with the handle. The head was made in the USA. The sledge is 36” long with a 7” long head. The hammer faces are 2” diameter. This isn’t the original handle. The replacement handle is good condition and firm on the head. Nice 8 pound Stanley No. 850 sledge hammer.
