CILCO Peoria & Local 146 Decatur Photographs: The pair of pictures include a 1934 CILCO and Electrical Workers picture. The 1934 Central Illinois Light Co. photograph was taken in front of the company building and has a group shot of the employees. The photo is labeled, "Peoria Electrical Distribution Dept. No Lost Time Accidents June-28-33 ~ June 28 34." The second photograph has a sign in back stating, "Local 146 AF of L International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Decatur since 1912". The back of the photo is stamped, "Bill Kileen Photographer 207 W. Prairie -- Phone 5722 Decatur, Illinois". The photo is not dated but notice the 4 digit phone number and the style of clothes. The photos are 8x10" B&W glossy and good condition with no stains or tears.
Pair of 1967 CILCO Peoria Ashtrays. There is a card that indicates these were giveaways to employees when the new Peoria Pioneer Park Service Center opened. Each ashtray is smoked glass with an image of the facility and dated 1967. Excellent condition with no cracks or flea bites.
Replogle World Classic 5" globe mounted on a 2 pillar wood stand with a clock mounted in the base. The base has a brass CILCO plaque under the clock. The globe is gyro mounted and can be turned 2 ways. The wood is walnut with made in the USA marked on the bottom. Replogle is a well-known for globes. The original manual is included. The condition is excellent but watch battery not included. The overall dimensions are 6" long x 10" wide x 9" tall.
