Offered for sale is an antique ornate mirror. The frame is referred to as a plaster frame. It features elaborate shapes molded to create a formal appearance. The frame measures approximately 27" x 23" outside the frame. While the plaster has flaws - this is in darn good condition. The back of the mirror is marked, "Empire True Vision August 13, 1963". At a glance this would appear to date the mirror. The family story is that the frame was in the family for a generation and then sat in a room for storage for decades before being rediscovered. 1963 was when the mirror was specially cut and added to the frame. Great antique plaster mirror and hard to find in this good condition.
